Refund and Cancellation Policy
StartWise services combine professional work, government processes, third-party provider commitments, identity review, document preparation, and time-reserved advisory support. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the service stage and costs already incurred.
General professional fees
Before material work begins, StartWise may approve a full or partial refund less Stripe fees, non-refundable deposits, completed review work, and third-party charges. After work begins, the refundable amount—if any—is based on the unperformed portion of the StartWise scope.
Government and third-party charges
State filing fees, registered-agent charges, mail processing, shipping, tax preparation, Certifying Acceptance Agent costs, leases, utilities, carrier plans, device or activation charges, bank or vendor fees, and other third-party amounts are non-refundable once paid, submitted, reserved, activated, installed, or otherwise incurred, except where the provider itself issues a refund.
OfficeProof
OfficeProof is a one-year commercial-office subscription. Before the office is reserved or lease work begins, a cancellation request may be reviewed. After the provider plan is purchased, inventory is reserved, the lease is prepared or signed, mail service is activated, or provider work begins, the current annual term is generally non-refundable except as required by law or an applicable written provider refund right. Cancellation through Stripe prevents future renewal but does not terminate current lease obligations automatically.
UtilityProof
The StartWise coordination fee may become non-refundable once provider research, ordering, scheduling, installation coordination, or account setup begins. Utility deposits, installation, equipment, recurring service, taxes, and cancellation fees follow the selected utility provider’s terms.
TaxBridge
TaxBridge fees may be refundable before eligibility review, document preparation, CAA coordination, or Form W-7 work begins. After professional or provider work begins, refunds are limited to the unperformed portion, if any. Government processing outcomes and ITIN issuance are not guaranteed.
MobileLine
MobileLine requires T-Mobile or AT&T eSIM eligibility and an unlocked compatible device. Before carrier activation, a cancellation may be reviewed. After a number, eSIM, plan, or carrier account is activated, the current service cost and completed StartWise work are generally non-refundable. Number port-out, plan cancellation, taxes, and carrier charges follow carrier rules.
Establishment Stack
The bundle contains multiple services. Refunds are calculated by deducting completed StartWise work and all incurred component costs. Activation of OfficeProof, MobileLine, UtilityProof, or TaxBridge may make that component non-refundable even if another component has not started.
Annual renewals
Customers should cancel recurring services before the renewal date through the Stripe Customer Portal or written notice. A renewal that has already been charged and committed to a provider is reviewed under the applicable OfficeProof or MobileLine rules. StartWise sends renewal and payment-failure notices to the billing email when systems and contact details are functioning correctly, but customers remain responsible for managing renewal dates.
Chargebacks and disputes
Contact StartWise before filing a chargeback so the service record, provider commitments, cancellation options, and refund calculation can be reviewed. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspended services, loss of office or mobile continuity, collections, and preservation of relevant evidence.
How to request a refund or cancellation
Email contact@startwise.global with the customer name, order email, order or invoice number, service, reason, and requested resolution. StartWise will review the service stage, completed work, provider commitments, and applicable written agreement.
This policy does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived. Service-specific contracts and provider terms may impose additional rules.
